  Oh, how I wish I had found the dress of my dreams somewhere else... Let me start by saying that I only came to Alessandra's since my MIL had found a dress on Pinterest and I fell in love and had to find it and try it on. Unfortunately only 2 stores in the state had it at that time, either Ann Arbor or Warren- as Ann Arbor was a bit too far of a hike, I decided on trying it on at Alessandra's. BIG MISTAKE. The initial consultation was the only good experience I had here. As I type this, I am 5 days away from my wedding and there are major things that are still not completed on the dress due their mistakes and contradicting themselves. Purchasing the dress with Aziza was great, but if you decide to purchase here when the dress comes in, TAKE YOUR DRESS ELSEWHERE FOR ALTERATIONS. They will get you in and out as fast as they can and lie about everything. Don't get me started on the owner Alessandra, who is a rude condescending overbearing witch. Do not talk down to me like I am an uneducated child when I ask a question about an alteration term, I am simply asking a question so I can understand your 'suggestion' and so I know what I'm paying for. She originally insisted on sewing the additional cups into a strapless bra of mine, which I told her I would think about, which in her mind she assumed I said yes. She called out to me from the back of the store demanding that bra (which I was wearing and the only one I had with me at the time), embarrassing me in front of several other customers. After I had agreed to sewing the cups into the bra, at the next appointment I discovered that they were sewn into the dress! When I inquired about it and pointed out that I had a huge gap down my dress and it was uncomfortable, I was rudely told that she did not care about my comfort, that she only cared about how I look... Apparently she must care only about her reputation rather than a happy and satisfied customer, which I am currently neither. At this last fitting, come to find out the small swag sleeves that I wanted were done in the wrong color, AGAIN (they did pure white instead of soft ivory/cream), and instead of admitting to their mistake, they lied to me as to where my dress was saying it was 'in storage'. This whole experience with them has been a massive headache, not helping my nerves at all! Mind you, I was never once issued an apology! I cannot wait until Wednesday to pick up my dress and never have to deal with this place again. IF you decide to make an appointment here, make sure it is with Aziza or Cree and IF you happen to find the dress of your dreams, see if other salons carry it and order elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and anxiety.
